Dear Friend,

Intersection 26, the world's leading conference on Enterprise Design, is heading to Montréal! This year, we are moving beyond the “innovation theatre” to explore the mechanics of impact. Three days of expert-led keynotes, insightful talks, and hands-on workshops await.

And today, we have a big announcement.

Blind Bird Tickets are Available Now!

We have a special deal for you: The Blind Bird Ticket is your chance to secure your spot at Intersection 26 at our most exclusive rate.

It gives you full access to all three days in Montréal, and guarantees your place at Intersection 26 early.

If you’re planning to join us, this is the best way to do it.

Our Call for Contributions is Open!

Three days of inspiring talks, case studies, and workshops await, and we want you to take the stage! We invite you to share your experiences, insights, and solutions that help clarify, structure, and transform messy enterprises into well-aligned ecosystems.

If you have a case, method, or insight that helps turn ideas into impact, we'd love to hear from you.

We can't wait to meet you in Montréal in October!

Warm regards,

Milan and Wolfgang

Innovation begins with a spark: a flash of insight, a lingering annoyance, a new technology, a bold question. But a spark alone cannot sustain a fire. The true challenge of innovation and change today isn’t just generating ideas. It is designing and architecting the systems that allow those ideas to survive, scale, and deliver real-world impact.

Welcome to the 12th edition of the Intersection conference in Montréal, our first edition happening in North America. This year, we are moving past the “innovation theatre” to explore the mechanics of impact.

We are redefining what it means to build an “Enterprise.” Whether you are launching a startup, leading a complex corporate initiative, or steering a mission-driven non-profit, an enterprise is defined by its actions and ambitions, not its headcount. It is the act of turning an abstract concept into a living, breathing reality, bringing about change and positively contributing to peoples lives.

One language sounds like progress. In practice, it often looks like politics. This session opens with Daniel Simon presenting new survey findings on enterprise modelling language use — UML, BPMN, ArchiMate, EDGY — and confronts the uncomfortable question head-on: is the search for a single standard a strategic goal, a persistent myth, or simply the wrong kind of question?

The data makes a compelling case that languages coexist for a reason. But it also raises a harder question than which language to pick: what would it actually mean to design your language landscape deliberately? And what does the answer look like from the inside of a language that is still finding its place in practice?
