Subject: Announcing Intersection 26 Conference - Call for Contributions is Open Now!

Hi Friend,

We have exciting news to share! Intersection conference is crossing the Atlantic for the first time: This year we are heading to Montreal. And today, we’re thrilled to officially announce the theme of our 12th edition:

Beyond the Spark: Turning ideas into impactful enterprises

Innovation begins with a spark: a flash of insight, a lingering annoyance, a new technology, a bold question. But a spark alone cannot sustain a fire. The true challenge of innovation and change today isn’t just generating ideas. It is designing and architecting the systems that allow those ideas to survive, scale, and deliver real-world impact.

This year, we are moving past the “innovation theatre” to explore the mechanics of impact.

We want you to be part of this journey!

With the call for contributions now open, it’s your chance to share experiences, insights, and solutions for for moving ideas beyond the spark and into real-world impact. We are looking for stories, cases, and methods that show how you turn intent into outcome.

We’re especially interested in:

  • From Idea to Realisation – How do we turn promising ideas into tangible outcomes that create lasting enterprise value?

  • Decision-Making in Complexity – How do we enable faster, better joint decisions across silos, organisations and ecosystems?

  • Making Enterprises AI-Ready – How do we ensure AI initiatives are grounded in real human and enterprise value, based on purposeful design practices?

  • Cross-Enterprise Experiences – How can we design seamless interactions across organisations, products, platforms, and channels?

  • Language, Mental Models & Visualisation – How do we create clarity, consistent terminology and shared understanding for alignment and action?

  • Organisation & Ecosystem Complexity – How do we create and enable strategic coherence and direction in interconnected and evolving enterprise ecosystems?

If you have a case, method, or insight that helps turning ideas into impact, we want to hear from you!

Let's go beyond the spark!

Many professionals struggle to explain their role clearly. Teams often have the same issue: overlapping responsibilities, blind spots, and unclear expectations across design, product, architecture, organisation, and business.

The EDGY Profiler addresses this problem. The tool helps individuals and teams make their focus areas visible and discuss them using a shared language.Straightforward and fast to deploy, it is a short self-assessment that maps your (or your team's) experience across the three EDGY Enterprise Design facets: identity, architecture, and experience.

Some people naturally think in terms of vision and outcomes, others focus on processes and activities, while others ground discussions in concrete tools and objects. Organisations, in the same way, tend to prioritise certain facets such as brand, experience, product, or technology.

In this webinar, we’ll introduce the Affinity Concept: a simple way to understand how individual and enterprise affinities shape conversations, collaboration, and decision-making. By starting with what people and organizations already care about, you can reduce friction, align perspectives, and build shared understanding without forcing everyone into the same framework.

Why does a perfectly polite, procedural interaction still leave a customer feeling drained or distrustful? The answer isn’t found in your team’s script, but in your organization’s invisible architecture.

Neuroscience reveals that the human brain is a hardwired “coherence detector.” When faced with a company fragmented into silos, the customer’s subconscious detects a structural dissonance. Biologically, the brain interprets this inconsistency as a threat.

This session moves beyond the study of cognitive biases to explore Enterprise Design through the EDGY framework. We demonstrate how EDGY serves as a powerful tool for “Cognitive Care”.

The power of strategy is setting position, perspective and focus with a cascade of choices to guide action. How might we utilise EDGY in Strategic Management?

StratEDGY is a recipe for making good decisions towards solving your enterprise strategic challenges. Simple maps and a process loop guide your decisions from task to action.
Let's make strategy accessible with EDGY!
