Subject: A new keynote for Intersection 26, and more!

Dear Friend,

With Intersection 26 less than a month away, there's a lot happening. Here's an update on what's new:

Ren Pope joins us as a keynote speaker

We're excited to announce Ren Pope, Chief Enterprise Architect for the State of California, as a keynote speaker at Intersection 26. He will share his perspective on connecting technology, strategy, and public services at a scale few organisations can match.

11 years of Intersection, mapped

We applied the EDGY Profiler to our entire conference archive, 146 talks since 2014, to see where our community's conversation has actually concentrated over the years, and just as importantly, where it hasn't. The result is a dashboard you can explore year by year, talk by talk.

Less than a month to Montréal
Intersection 26 takes place October 7–9 in Montréal. With the program filling up and the conference just weeks away, this is your chance to secure a spot for three days of keynotes, workshops, and case studies.

Exciting milestone: 200 EDGY Practitioners

Over 200 people have now completed our EDGY Language Foundations course and become certified EDGY Practitioners. Thank you to everyone who's been part of that journey so far! And if you'd like to be next, our autumn cohort starts October 21.

More on each below. We hope to see you soon, in Montréal or in one of our upcoming cohorts.

Warm regards,

The Intersection Group Team

A Big Thank You to our Partners!

None of this would be possible without the organisations who support us.

How do you approach Enterprise Design and Architecture at the scale of a state with 250,000 employees and nearly 40 million citizens? Not just any state, either: California has the fourth-largest economy in the world!

We're excited to welcome Ren Pope, Chief Enterprise Architect for the State of California, as a keynote speaker at Intersection 26.

The Intersection Conference EDGY Profiler Dashboard

We applied the EDGY Profiler to the Intersection Conference archive: 146 talks from 2014 Paris through 2025 Brussels. The result is a picture of where our conversation has actually concentrated.

The thin dimensions are the interesting ones. They mark territory the community hasn't claimed yet; the talks that haven't been given, by the practitioners who haven't yet found their way to us. The dashboard lets you explore year by year, see which talks score highest on each dimension, and follow how the balance has shifted across eleven editions.

A meaningful milestone: over 200 people have now completed our EDGY Language Foundations course and become certified EDGY Practitioners.

Thank you to every single one of you, for bringing EDGY into their organisations, for the feedback that's shaped the course along the way, and for building the community this discipline needed.

If you've been thinking about joining them, now's a good time: our next EDGY Language Foundations cohort starts October 21. Over six weeks, you'll learn how to use EDGY's Enterprise Design Facets and Elements to bring more clarity and impact to the organisations you work with, hands-on, cohort-based, and taught by the people who created EDGY.
