Subject: Did you miss this? New! Instant Pot Chicken Verde Pot Pie + Creative Egg Bite Mold Recipes

Hey, Instant Pot family!

How's your menu rotation? Especially during this ongoing quarantine time, most of us are trying to limit the amount of time spent grocery shopping. Which may cause meals to get a little monotonous. Well, we reviewed a cookbook that can make the dilemma of what to cook disappear.

Chicken Verde Pot Pie is just one recipe from The No-Shop Instant Pot Cookbook. It's a unique book that offers four recipes per core ingredient such as chicken. Amazing meal options from just basic items in your pantry.

We also have a roundup of creative ways to use egg bite molds. You can do more than just make eggs. From bagel bites to meatloaf bites to cheesecake bites.

Instant Pot Lamb Curry

"I made this tonight using venison steak (steakums) instead of lamb. Served over coconut rice. It was delicious. I would have liked to add the chili pepper but didn’t have any on hand. Sriracha worked well after serving. A dollop of Greek yogurt is recommended."

Salisbury Steak Meatballs With Gravy

"Made this for dinner tonight. I used your paleo suggestions. I also skipped the browning of the meatballs because I was short on time. They turned out great! Tender and flavorful. This will go into our regular rotation! Thank you!"

Italian White Fish From Frozen

"This was so easy to make and I was surprised at how tasty it was because there are not very many ingredients. It was delicious and I will definitely be making this again."

WEEKLY INSTANT POT TIP

After sauteing ingredients and before pressure cooking you need to deglaze the inner pot. Deglazing involves adding a thin liquid like wine, water, or broth to the hot surface and scraping the bottom with a silicone scraper or wooden spatula to remove the caramelized and brown bits that are stuck.

Deglazing adds wonderful flavor to your dish, but more importantly, it cleans the inner pot. So any liquid that you add will make full contact with the bottom of the inner pot and that allows the sensor in the Instant Pot to properly register temperature and pressure + the stuck-on bits will not burn during further heating.
