Nov. 1, 2013 - The Halloween Classic has become one of the premier events of the carpet racing season. As the first event of the 2013/14 Midwest Grand Slam Series, interest in the event was at an all-time high. Hosted by the Gate and NORCAR (Northern Ohio Radio Control Auto Racers), the event created such a buzz that it sold out two months in advance!

Oct. 29, 2013 - The Dual is an exciting new event which made its debut last weekend. Instead of the typical qualifying and main event format utilized at nitro races, racers competed head to head in six races spread out over two days on two completely different tracks. Drivers scored points for their finishing positions, with their best two finishes at each track used to determine their overall finishing position.
