Hi Friend,
My guest for this week's podcast is Gary Myerberg-Lauter, who has installed and maintained studios for major facilities and superstar artists.
Gary’s worked at the famed A&M Studios during its heyday, set up a major portable recording rig for Bruce Springsteen, helped run LA’s famous Cello Studios then brought it back to life as East West, and now manages the technical operations for 5 of LA’s busiest studios.
Among the things that we discuss is what made Bill Putnum's famous studio design at Western Studios (which became Cello, then East West) work, and the one easy piece of self-maintenance that every modern studio owner should do.
On the intro I'll look at the plans to consolidate Google Play Music and YouTube Red, and the steps in setting up your subwoofer.
