If you ever watched Live From Daryl's House (which is a favorite of so many musicians), you probably have a lot of questions about the show.
I was lucky enough to have the show's musical director, guitarist Shane Theriot, on my latest podcast to pull back the curtain on how the show is done (and how little rehearsal there actually is - you'll be shocked).
Shane has a lot of experience playing with a wide variety of artists from Beyonce to Dr. John, among many others, but he spent 8 years with the legendary Neville Brothers, and we'll talk about that funk training ground as well.
On the intro I'll look at the new strategy coming out of Japan and the UK that just might stop clubs from closing, and how music training can aid in hearing loss.
