Subject: Engineer Clark Germain on my latest Inner Circle Podcast

Hi Friend,

My guest on the podcast this week is engineer Clark Germain, who started in the business doing live sound around Hollywood for the likes of X, Circle Jerks, Agent Orange and Social Distortion to name a few.

Eventually he began working at some of Hollywoods most prestigious studios, gaining credits on records by Michael Jackson, Tina Turner, Lionel Ritchie, Madonna, U2 and many more.

Since going independant, Clark has worked on some great projects in studios all over the world with the likes of Herbie Hancock, Counting Crows, The Fray, and Sting among many others, but eventually made the switch into the world of film and television, where he recently won an Emmy for score mixing for the Amazon series “Mozart in the Jungle.”

We spoke about the differences between scoring and records, Amek consoles (Clark has a vintage 2500 in his studio), and much more. You'll enjoy this one!

On the intro I'll look at the latest changes to the Grammy nominations and the reason behind them, and what looks like some big changes on the horizon for JBL Pro.

Remember that you can find the podcast at BobbyOInnerCircle.com, or either on iTunes, StitcherMixcloud, Google Podcasts (for you Android users), and Google Play

Enjoy the show!
