Subject: Waiting to feel confident before you follow the plan? Wrong order.

This is backwards for basically everyone.

Ryan here...

Somebody said this to me on a call a while back.

"I know what my rules are. I just don't feel confident enough to actually follow them yet."

I hear a version of that constantly. Basically... "once I feel sure this works, I'll start actually doing it properly."

Sounds reasonable. It's backwards though.

Think about literally anything else you've ever learned. Riding a bike. Driving a car. You didn't feel confident first and then start pedalling. You felt terrified, wobbly, half convinced you'd fall off, and you pedalled anyway. The confidence showed up after. Because of the pedalling. Not before it.

Confidence isn't the thing that lets you follow the plan. Following the plan is the thing that eventually gives you confidence.

Fair enough?

So if you're sat there waiting to "feel ready" before you actually stick to your rules properly... you might be waiting a long time. Possibly forever. The feeling comes after the reps, not before them.

Start following it properly this week, even the boring bits, especially the boring bits, and the confidence will turn up on its own in a few weeks. It always does!

That's genuinely most of what changes for people once they're inside BTC and actually doing this alongside other people. Not more information. Just more reps, faster.

Here's where you get your first reps in, testing before trading, so the confidence shows up sooner rather than later. That's what Lightspeed Stats is built for, reps before risk:
