Walking past a lake with my daughter this week, she asked me what that man was doing… 

Fishing… 

I then went on to tell her that I used to love fishing. 

Which then took my mind on a trip through some of the highlights of when I went fishing. 

You know what they all had in common? 

I was never alone in all the top memories from fishing. 

From catching the biggest carp of my life to going night fishing with my dad. 

The common theme throughout was the best times were spent with others, there was something else in that too… 

When I got back I texted my dad (who still has all the polaroids I ever took!) and asked to get the fishing ones out. 

Looking through them I had kept a note of all the fish I caught on the back of the pictures. 

When I was on my own (yea I still took pics of the fish I caught on my own!), I didn’t catch as much as when others. 

Interesting that? 

What was it about being with others? 

I think it was the ability to bounce ideas off each other, to share stories, to help each other get more fish. 

It’s the same with trading. Trading is bloody lonely, look around you now.
