Most traders are too quick.

The game kicks off.

They’ve got a shortlist.

They like the stats.

So they jump in straight away.

Then 10 minutes later, they realise the game doesn’t look anything like the numbers suggested.

No tempo.

No shots.

No pressure.

No sign of a goal.

And now they’re sat there hoping instead of trading.

That’s why I like the idea behind this strategy.

It’s a First Half Goal after 10 minutes angle.

You’re not trying to predict everything before kick-off.

You’re using the first 10 minutes as a filter.

Are the right team attacking?

Is the game open?

Are there shots, corners, pressure or dangerous moments?

Does the match still fit the pre-match data?

If it does, you may have a stronger first-half goal trading opportunity.

If it doesn’t, you can leave it alone.

That’s the part most people miss.

A good strategy is not just about finding matches.

It’s about knowing when not to get involved.
