I built an Over 2.5 strategy I was sure would work.

It crashed. Properly burned.

The stats weren't wrong. I was. I was getting in at kick-off, and the goals just weren't turning up when I needed them.

So I got curious and tracked everything: every goal time, in every match, for the winners and the losers.

One number jumped out, and once I saw it I couldn't unsee it.

It changed when I got in, the price I got, and the market I used. What came out the other side is now one of my Over 1.5 strategies.

Most people pick stats because they look impressive. Like the home team scoring first 70% of the time. Looks great, until you see who they're playing.

The traders I've spoken to who actually make money pick stats differently. They start with one question, and every stat has to answer it.
