I got caught up in wanting to make Betfair Trading Community bigger:

• More members

• More software

• More sports

• More...

But not because of the money. I thought we needed to be all things to all people. I was wrong. 

Very wrong.

By trying to be everything for everyone, we lost our original ethos, our drive.

Our Vision: A Better Community

When I started Betfair Trading Community, I wanted a place where traders could connect:

• A safe space to share and improve

• A community with a supportive atmosphere

• A hub for honest and constructive discussions

This community became, after my children, one of the best things I've ever done. We then developed software to help traders find their selections better and faster.

Our New Focus: Better NOT Bigger. 

However, we realised that trying to bring everything into one place was a mistake. So, we're changing our approach.

• Quality software: We're enhancing our football and horse racing backtesting and stats to be the best out there. 

• No other software will have the stats or depth of stats we have OR the backtesting capability. 

• Focused efforts: No additional sports stats will be added. All our energy will be on perfecting what we do best. Listening to what you need from the software we have and making it better. 

• Enhanced community: We are dedicated to making our community a supportive, positive space for all traders.
