Arne Slot has a lot to teach us about Betfair Trading.

You might think I’m mental, but I went to Anfield last Wednesday and saw Liverpool get absolutely tonked by PSV. 4–1. It was awful.

But what Arne did next is where the real lesson is.

He didn’t quit.
He didn’t throw the strategy out the window.
He didn’t say, “Maybe I’m not cut out for this.” (Not in public anyway!)

Instead, he gave the players the day off.

And he spent the day with his data team.

> They pulled everything apart.
> What worked?
> What didn’t?
> What needs to change in the plan?

After doing this for 16 years, one of the biggest mistakes I see traders make is quitting on a strategy way too early.

Everything reverts to the mean at some point.

If you’re judging your strategy after a handful of losses, you’re not judging the strategy. You’re reacting to fear.

This is where most people knock themselves out of the game.
