Yo.

So I heard a stat that scared me, it said that 95% of humans are now effectively NPCs.

An NPC is a non-playing character. They are usually found in video games, they are just going about there following the status quo, never questioning, never doing anything but ordinary.

They never question their feelings, they are never curious.

You see them EVERYWHERE now. In real life!

I bet you even know one.

You are thinking about them now aren't you?

That scares the shit out of me.

Because I can see it, I look around me. The people who have come in and out of my life, the main reason the ones who are still here is because they aren’t NPC.

I always want to be able to make choices, especially ones that contradict what the status quo is.

It’s funny because the ones who thought I was crazy all those years ago for following my curiosity into the Betfair rabbit hole, who told me ‘it would never work’...

They were the ones following their programming, blindly…

They are non-playing characters.

I want to control where I go, what I want to do.

The really funny part is now those players want what I have.

But they were never playing the game of life.

They were letting life pass them by, and they are on autopilot.

This is me asking you a question now…
