Yesterday marked 3 years since I started Melaleuca.

February 28, 2023.

I was thinking about it last night and thought I’d share it with you.

Back then I honestly didn’t think I would ever start another business. I had tried my fair share of companies and nothing worked.

I was tired of starting over every year.

What caught my attention at the time was flipping through a Leadership in Action magazine and seeing page after page of people earning monthly repeat income.

Not one or two people. Pages of them.

That’s what made me think this might be different.

Three years later, a few things happened that I didn’t expect.

I earned an all inclusive trip and got to take my two oldest kids with me to a resort in Cancun. That one meant a lot.

But honestly, the bigger part has been what shows up every month now.

As of writing this, I have 88 families who shop every month and a few of them decided to build a business with me as well.

This is what I’ve been able to do so far while working full time and raising 4 kids.

Little things like being able to grocery shop without checking my bank account first.

Saying yes when my kids need something instead of telling them "maybe next week."

Covering my Melaleuca order every month without having to come out of pocket.

That’s been the biggest shift for me.

And for the first time it feels like I’m building something that will be here when I’m ready to step back from my day job.

That’s what I’m focused on now. Just building and helping a few more people get set up so it can keep compounding.
