| HOLY REVOLUTION: The Charlie Kirk Effect
This past Sunday’s Charlie Kirk memorial in Phoenix was more than a tribute — it was a cultural earthquake. Over 200,000 in attendance, more than 100 million streaming globally, and some of the world’s most influential leaders declaring faith in Jesus Christ at the center of public life. Most unforgettable of all was Erika Kirk’s radiant testimony of forgiveness, a living Gospel that pointed us to the power that alone can heal a nation.
From my experience there, and in follow-up conversation, seven takeaways emerged that we believe mark this as an inflection point for America:
1) A National Quake The sheer scale — hundreds of thousands gathered, millions watching — revealed that faith and truth are not marginal, but at the heart of our national hunger.
2) Faith at the Center, Not the Fringe Leaders from every sector emphasized Jesus Christ as the foundation for freedom and flourishing. Not ornament, but oxygen.
3) Marriage and Family as Epicenter Repeated throughout the day: the renewal of marriages and families is the indispensable path to cultural renewal.
4) Naming Disorder, Seeking Self-Mastery Every speaker underscored the truth that all of us wrestle with disordered desires — but disorder is not destiny. Self-mastery through grace is possible and necessary.
5) Forgiveness as the Crescendo Erika Kirk’s forgiveness of her husband’s assassin was the loudest and longest ovation — a demonstration of the supernatural strength of Christ’s love.
6) Speaking to the Brokenness Even those celebrating Charlie’s death are souls wounded and weaponized. The Gospel calls us to engage them with compassion, humility, and truth.
7) Building on Rock (Matthew 7) This moment must not fade with emotion. We must anchor it in Christ, in marriages, families, and communities that stand on rock, not sand.
This was no fleeting event. It was, and is, a summons — to repentance, to forgiveness, to the transforming love of Christ.

TOLD THE STORY... NEARLY TWO YEARS AGO I WROTE THIS BOOK nearly a year before President Trump was elected. ONLY IN RECENT WEEKS have I been moved by the most consequential discovery of all: my protagonist. Willie. Charlie. In the heart of the public square when everything is going south. Courageously speaking truth in love. One who ignites revolution. In the only way one can. If it weren’t for a single woke-wounded review, the book would be rated 4.9/5.
