September is Library Card Sign-Up Month If you're reading this newsletter, you already have your library card. So this September, we're asking you to celebrate Library Card Sign-Up Month by spreading the word! Are you an ebook reader, an audiobook fanatic, or do you love real paper books? Have you exercised your brain with BrainHQ, learned a new language with Mango Languages, or read The New York Times online? Let your friends know how you use your library card!
During the month of September, we have a few special incentives and prizes for patrons who sign up for a new library card, renew their expired card, or get a friend to sign up.
- Kids/Teens: Receive a goody bag. There will also be a special library-themed scavenger hunt!
- Adults: Enter to win earn a $20 gift card to Panera, or two orchestra tickets to Starman: A Tribute to David Bowie on Friday, September 28th at the Infinity Music Hall in Hartford.
Visit us at the Berlin Fair Check out our booth at the Berlin Fair! Show your library card (from any library) and get an airbrush tattoo, make your own button pins with our button-maker, or take a picture with our fun character stand-ins. Berlin residents can also sign up for their library card at the fair! |

Homebound delivery service. Berlin-Peck offers volunteer delivery services to patrons who are homebound (temporarily or permanently) because of illness, disability, or advanced age. To be eligible for our Homebound Service, patrons must be Berlin residents and must have a current Berlin-Peck Library card.
