Check out what's happening at the library!

Looking for new ways to brighten these cold winter days? My favorite suggestion—of course—is a visit to the library! Beyond our thousands of books, we offer events nearly every weekday and many Saturdays. This month, I’m especially excited about two upcoming programs: our Local Author Spotlight on Tuesday, February 3 and our New Book Buzz on Saturday, February 21. The Local Author Spotlight will feature three area writers who will share their books and discuss their unique journeys through writing and publishing. At the Book Buzz, you’ll get a sneak peek at some of the year’s most anticipated new releases and have an opportunity to take home a free book.

Maybe you’re already a regular visitor and are simply looking for something different this winter. Good news—we’ve got you covered there, too! Did you know we offer free and discounted passes to museums, zoos, parks, and more? Visit our museum pass page to explore the possibilities.

Remember, the best way to support your local library is to use it and remind your friends and family to do the same. We hope to see you in the library soon!
