Boscov's Fundraiser

I realize that fall just began, but it’s never too early to start your holiday shopping! Need new household items for your Thanksgiving feast? How about refreshing your fall wardrobe? How about doing all this and more with a 25% discount at Boscov’s?! The Board of Trustees of the Berlin-Peck Library is selling coupons at the library for only $5 which will entitle you to a 25% discount ALL DAY (8am to 11pm) on Wednesday, October 16 at Boscov’s. All coupon proceeds will go directly to the library. We would appreciate your support!

Donation Line

Speaking of support, the Berlin-Peck Library is now a beneficiary through Donation Line, of any car, boat, jet ski, motorcycle or RV that you are considering donating for charity. Just go to donationline.com and under the charity pull-down menu, select the Berlin-Peck Library. I was told by last month's car donor that the process was very easy, and the library earned enough money to fund four future programs!

Little Free Library

Finally, our Little Free Library returned to the Berlin Train Station recently! The mini library had previously lived at the old train station; however, renovations forced its temporary removal. Now it's back and better than ever. Train riders of all ages can feel free to take a book whenever they travel. It will be maintained and restocked by both librarians and volunteers. Thanks to the Friends of the Library for their purchase and upkeep of the LFL, to the Town Facilities Department for the great stand and installation and the CT DOT and station property managers for their support.
