The Berlin-Peck Memorial Library is thrilled to announce the grand opening of its new Traveling Toys Lending Library on Thursday, November 12, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. This exciting new addition allows families to borrow high-quality toys (almost 100!) to enjoy at home, matching the traditional library book lending model. The Toy Lending Library aims to support early childhood development and ensure all children in the Berlin community have access to enriching educational play materials.

Thanks to our partnership with Traveling Toys and the generous support of the Community Foundation of Greater New Britain, families will be able to borrow toys to enjoy at home, just like books! For this special day only, children are invited to open the toys and explore them right here at the library. Come play, discover, and celebrate with us!
