The Visionaries documentary on IFDC is now available to view online. The program showcases IFDC’s work empowering smallholder farmers and building markets, particularly in sub-Saharan Africa. Conversations with government officials, fertilizer industry professionals, IFDC staff and farmers underscore agriculture’s critical role in boosting global economic growth.

“When people are well-fed, it’s very good for you as an economy,” said Akinwumi Adesina, African Development Bank President-Elect. “Your GDP grows…kids have better food…households in rural areas have more money to send their kids to school and malnutrition goes down.” The show also includes interviews with Agnes Kalibata, President of the Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa, among other leading voices in African agriculture.
