Subject: 'Tis the Season...

For Gratitude
For Gratitude Banner

As we come to the end of a difficult year, we take a moment to pause and reflect in thankfulness. To our partners, whether you are a donor, farmer, entrepreneur, or friend, we express our sincere appreciation for your support during 2020.

Nearly half a million farmers have received training in or are applying advanced agricultural practices – improving yields and income while decreasing climate impacts. Real research is making a real difference. You have helped us continue to realize our vision of healthier soils and plants for a food-secure and environmentally sustainable world.

And yet, as Leonardo da Vinci said more than 500 years ago, “We know more about the movement of the stars than about the soil underfoot.” Our research continues, not simply to uncover knowledge, but to make a difference. Our work starts with soil health and fertility and ends with changed lives: families building new houses, children receiving schooling, whole communities transformed by access to basic human necessities.

Looking forward to 2021, let us continue working toward a food-secure world, and join us in our creed: “Healthy Soils Change Lives.”

We wish you and your family warmth and happiness this holiday season.

Sincerely,

The IFDC worldwide team
