With the harvest season upon us, this is a time to stop and be thankful, and at IFDC we are thankful to our supporters, such as yourself. Because of you, IFDC programs in 2016 touched the lives of hundreds of thousands of smallholder farmers and agricultural entrepreneurs in more than 20 nations in sub-Saharan Africa and Asia. And yet, we are mindful of the nearly 800 million who suffer from food insecurity. As we give thanks, let us remember these people, and renew our commitment to eradicate hunger in our world. Furthermore, let us be hopeful that the work we do will not be in vain but will effect meaningful and lasting change in our world. On behalf of the IFDC Board of Directors and my fellow employees, I wish you and your loved ones the best during this time of gratefulness and reflection.
