Greenhouse
Gas Research at IFDC
Rice farming is
one of the world’s major sources of greenhouse gas emissions. IFDC researches
fertilizer technologies that reduce these emissions, particularly nitrous
oxide, the dominant gas responsible for ozone destruction.
This week we
feature a guest blog from Dr. Upendra Singh, IFDC principal soil scientist, on decreasing
fertilizer’s contribution to climate change.
