To celebrate International Women’s Day on March 8, IFDC is launching a new blog series featuring the firsthand stories of three female farmers from Mali.

Women comprise 43 percent of agricultural workers in developing countries but encounter more obstacles than their male counterparts. If these farmers had the same access to resources as men, they could reduce hunger for 150 million people.

Please join us as we learn about the impact these entrepreneurs are making – in their own words. Follow the conversation on Twitter using the hashtag #3WomenFarmers.
