I cannot tell you how MANY people tell me they have too much to do.
It's like a normal state we live in nowadays.
The emails, bills and admin you need to get to - and should probably organise...
The pile of unfolded laundry, or the messy kitchen table, looking at you accusingly,
Those half finished projects on the table, or in a folder on your computer, waiting for you to come back...
That darned overwhelming cupboard you've been saying you'll sort out for years...
Or even that dream you keep promising yourself you'll follow - writing the book, doing the workshop, starting the business...
So
much
stuff
to do.
It creates anxiety, all that stuff weighing on you.
In the moments you let your mind go there, your heat immediately spikes, your chest tightens and your breathing shallows.
And you feel bad about yourself.
'Why can't I just DO it? What's wrong with me? Why do other people seem to have more time? A tidy house? They seem on top of things!"
So here's what I want you to know about all this.
The stuff you need to do is probably not that difficult to do.
I'm guessing you already know that.
BUT
The stories you are telling yourself about the stuff...
And the way you are mean to yourself about it...
And how you try to push, berate and bully yourself into doing the stuff...
Well.
That's lethal.
That'll stop you in your tracks every time.
Because when you attack yourself, it alerts your fight flight freeze, you see?
And it creates exactly the opposite of what you want.
So why did I say I'm excited?
And what are we starting this week?
In The Portal of Permission this month, the theme is
Getting Stuff Done - The Self-Loving Way.
We are going to hold hands and all face our scary stuff together.
And we are actually going to get some (or a lot) of it completed. Cleared.
Kindly.
Gently.
Together.
This is what excites me!
Because if you have been beating yourself up for being 'lazy' or 'broken'...
Or you know there are things you'd like to move forward in...
You can join us.
There's going to be a lot of support.
But it's NOT a bootcamp.
It's a kind loving space to realise you are not the only one facing this.
Remember, you can try it for the month and then unsubscribe. There's no contract or pressure.
You have only your burdens and fears to lose.
I hope to see you there.
