iColorist

Hi,

Welcome to the August newsletter. 12 months ago, Australia and NZ were the envy of the world as crews flocked downunder to shoot. At the time of writing, both countries are now in partial lockdown due to the COVID 19 Delta variant. This has obviously halted our journey back to normality. Thankfully I am still busy grading shows that were shot pre-lockdown, but it has shown that normal is still a way off.

Although in many places you are well on your way back to recovery, people are still cautious and feeling the financial impact of the last 18 months. More of you than ever have expressed interest in taking a class - but many are holding off until work and funds are more secure. We understand, and that's why we are pleased to announce the new free iColorist 'Color Space Cadets' Sunday chat sessions. These will be streamed live on Youtube once a month - we hope you'll come with questions and comments.

We will also continue to host the Colorist Mixer events, with two more coming up this year, and put out free resources. If you want to upskill, have a look through our archive of tutorials, articles and webinars on iColorist. The latest is a new episode of Color Tour Podcast from Lagos, Nigeria featuring Bobola Oniwura CSI.

Please remember that any iColorist class can be customised for you or your work colleagues.

Stay safe and stay colorful,
