Subject: ICA Christmas Newsletter 2017

Happy
Christmas
and a successful
New Year!
Dear Friend,
The ICA team would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We hope to see you all again in 2018!
The grading industry has gone through some big changes since the birth of the ICA in 2009. This has meant we have had to evolve with it. DIT Onset grading, HDR, ACES, Looks, and Monitor Calibration classes now compliment our tradition of grading software training.

All ICA trainers are working colorists so the balance between training and colouring is always tricky, but both our grading and training experience complement each other adding value to both positions.

2017 was a great year for us and we introduced two major new features. The ICA Membership Scheme, and the world's first Colorist Summit in Bali, which was so successful that we are already planning another in 2018. All made possible by the support of our sponsors

Looking forward to 2018, we are excited to announce regular classes in London with our new partner Jigsaw and more classes in Taipei. Regular classes continue with partners AbelCine in NYC, Chicago and Los Angeles, and Media Asylum in Singapore. Blake and Guy also continue to offer their classes in Munich and Amsterdam respectively, and the rest of the ICA team travel the world on demand.

Enjoy the holidays with your friends and family and we look forward to catching up somewhere in the world in 2018.

Best Wishes, Kevin and Warren

ICA Membership Scheme
All current and previous ICA students can join the new Membership Scheme. It promotes you on our new Member page, gives you access to the private ICA forum as well as discounts from both our sponsors and future ICA classes. Details on how to become an ICA member here . If you have taken any ICA class over the previous 8 years you can join. It is a great way to promote yourself to perspective employers and a great place to network with other colorists.

COLORIST SUMMIT 2018
The Bali Colorist Summit was a great success with students coming from as far away as South America, Europe, Russia, South Africa, Australia and of course Asia.  Here is what they thought about the event. If you are interested in the 2018 Colorist Summit you can register your interest by subscribing to our newsletter. The venue is still to be decided, but rest assured it will be somewhere equally fun so you’ll want to bring your partner or family too.
