Subject: When Bad Things Happen

Dear Friend,

So many more things to share than time to! Sound familiar?... more to do, to create, to connect than time as everything in the world speeds up, including our creative aspirations!

Ideas are stacked up like a traffic jam, just awaiting opportunities to move them on out and onto “paper” to share.

In the meantime, I grab moments as I can to share via email and the iCD FB group, (but without much time to refine or edit, but it is what and as it is for now)!

When Things Happen…

Happenstance, chance, randomicity…or destiny?  Or…maybe just what we need, when we need it, which is an ever-changing, ever evolving path for we are creating it in each moment.

How can that be? How can it be a good thing when bad things happen? Because for most of us most of the time, at least during this part of our evolution, we learn more from the pain than the comfort.

When Bad Things Happen…

What if we greeted each thing as a gift, and truly embody that?

Even when bad things happen. What if we simply view it as the proverbial “happening for me not to me”?

When Good Things Happen…

When good things happen, we don’t question it, we appreciate it and accept it in grace.

What If…?

What if we opened our arms and heart, eager to discover the lesson hidden in each experience?

Can’t we imagine how that would transform the event, ourselves, and those around us?

No Matter What Happens…

No matter what happens, it’s the meaning we give it that makes all the difference.

So when bad things happen, we can start by removing the word “bad”. And… when things happen, we can be grateful and eager to discover the lesson or opportunity before us.

Chances are we’ve all had something “bad” happen that ended up being a good thing or even the best possible thing for what we needed for our next opportunity or level of growth.

We hear those stories from others and it often involves transformation and positive life changes. Chances are we have more than one of our own such stories.

I have many, and they leave me humbled and grateful for the blessings in disguise, that at first I didn’t recognize. Now, I’m getting much better at seeing the lessons before me, no matter the outer condition. And, it is FREEING.

Feel free to share one (or more) of yours. To bring out these stored memories helps us to choose an elevated emotion rather than a lower one the next time it seems like something bad has happened.

Transformation through creation.
