Subject: Step Up Today

In the 1/16/22 email titled ‘Step Up’, I spoke about the burden of the weight of procrastination.

"Procrastination becomes a burden removed by action."

That email, likened procrastination to a heavy load, which by simply getting it done, removes that burden from our shoulders to become a stepping stone upward and onward, and with each such effort, we grow stronger and more capable.

PROMPT PREMISE:

Identify ONE THING you’ve been procrastinating, (should you wish to engage this prompt).

It could be cleaning out a drawer, writing a thank you, learning a new task, swapping one healthy food for a junk food habit, an overdue call to a friend, clearing out your Inbox, cleaning out the fridge, clipping your toenails... ANYTHING big, small or in between, which weighs on your mind and floats through your thoughts as something you need to do.

PROMPT:

Write down, JUST ONE THING that you’ve been procrastinating, and do that one thing today.

One and done.

If your “one thing” has weighed on you, you might wish to safely* burn that paper with the one thing on it as a visual of how it no longer exists and how easily it will disappear for you have handled it.

*I burn prayers and “releases” safely using the fireplace or stainless steel sink or a pot to capture the remnants of the flames and ashes.

Transformation through creation.
