Seeing Christ in the Entire Bible

Explore how all of Scripture points to Jesus Christ.

In this powerful conversation with Nathan Johnson, we explore how all of Scripture—from Genesis to Revelation—points to Jesus Christ. From the types and shadows in the Law and the Prophets to the incarnation and ministry of Jesus Christ in the Gospels and the Epistles, through the entire Book we see Christ revealed again and again. Jesus is the Living Word, and He is not only the fulfillment of the Old Testament but also its very heartbeat. May our hearts burn within us, as did the hearts of those long ago on the road to Emmaus, as we behold the wonder of Jesus in both the Old and New Testaments.

Message of the Month

Waiting on God

Caleb Reed

Waiting. It is a word that is much easier to say than it is to do. In a culture driven by high-speed internet, fast food drive-thrus, and next-day shipping, we expect everything now. However, in our walk with the Lord, He sometimes calls us to simply wait. Although waiting is counter to our fleshly tendencies that demand immediate gratification, waiting on God and His timing produces spiritual fruitfulness that is much more lasting, satisfying, and glorifying to our Heavenly Father.

Our Message of the Month is titled “Waiting on God.” Evangelist Caleb Reed gives us a timely reminder of this necessary discipline. Through vivid illustrations, such as Joseph’s years in prison, the slow curing of concrete, as well as milk churning into buttermilk, Caleb shows how unseen transformation often only happens with time.

He shares about his own season of waiting due to closed doors and delayed direction, and he testifies how waiting on God, although agonizing, can become a time of intimacy, trust, and transformation. In such a place, the believer can learn that God Himself is the greatest Gift of the waiting time!

COMMAND OF CHRIST

Make Disciples

“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations . . . . Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen”

Matthew 28:19–20

As we come to the final command in this rich journey through the commands of Christ, we are brought to the heart of it all—making disciples. We are reminded that discipleship is more than teaching facts; it is guiding others to observe—to treasure, guard, and live out—the commands of Christ. We do this not in our own strength but under His authority and in the power of His presence, promised to be with us always.
