Through His life, death, and resurrection, Jesus Christ lived in complete obedience and surrender to God. In the Book of Philippians, we read that, although Jesus was equal with God, He humbled Himself to live among men and to redeem them from the bondage of sin.

As we surrender ourselves to the Father, He will form these characteristics of His Son in us as well. Let’s look more closely at how Jesus yielded His personal rights. |
