Subject: Introducing I Timothy 2:1 Prayer Calls!

Gather with us via video call at 7pm Central on the 21st of each month to seek the Lord in prayer together.

Dear Friends,

In I Timothy 2:1, we read of the priority God puts on prayer in the life of the believer:

I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men.

In light of this exhortation, we invite you to join us for a new monthly prayer initiative that we are calling I Timothy 2:1 Prayer Calls.

On the 21st of each month, families and individuals from across the country and even from around the world are being invited to join these prayer calls. The video calls will include a short exhortation on prayer, fellowship, and, most importantly, time to pray together. Just remember “2:1 on 21” and join us for this special time of obeying the Scriptural admonition found in I Timothy 2:1.

Each monthly video call will run from 7:00–8:00 p.m., Central Time. The following is a sample agenda of what to expect in each month’s prayer call:

  • Introduction

  • Exhortation on Prayer

  • Sharing Time

  • Prayer in Small Groups

  • Conclusion

Even if you are unable to attend the calls every month, feel free to still sign up to receive the reminder emails and just participate as you are able. We look forward to the opportunity to fellowship and pray together with you!

Blessings In Christ,

The IBLP Staff

“Joshua never grew weary in fighting with the Amalekites; but Moses, on the top of the mountain in prayer, needed two helpers to sustain his hands. The more spiritual the exercise, the sooner we tire in it. The choicest fruits are the hardest to rear: the most heavenly graces are the most difficult to cultivate. Beloved, while we do not neglect external things, which are good enough in themselves, we ought also to see to it that we enjoy living, personal fellowship with Jesus.
