It is with great sorrow and heavy hearts that we share the passing of Br. Wiqar A. Qazi. He leaves behind his wife, Ursala Bhabi; his son, Ibaad Qazi; his daughter-in-law, Raheela; his grandchildren; and many loved ones.
Fondly known to many as Qazi Bhai and Qazi Uncle, he was a pioneer in the community and the beloved owner of Silver Spoon Restaurant on Spring Valley Road in Richardson, one of the earliest halal restaurants in the area. His legacy of service continued as the restaurant moved to Allen.
He touched countless lives with his warmth, generosity, and ever-present smile. He fed many a single brother and sister who later returned with their spouses and children drawn not just by his food, but by his kindness and welcoming spirit. He worked tirelessly to serve the community and its organizations, leaving behind a legacy of sincere service and compassion.
