My family and I enjoyed the entire day yesterday, and I hope you did too.
In yesterday's email, I promised I would follow up on what I have been doing to overcome diabetes. To clarify, my condition was reaching the point where they recommended metformin and similar treatments. Some experts might claim that I never got diabetes, and I must agree with them, because unless you have the resistant type, you have something far easier to deal with, and it should just be called Metabolic Disease. I have only tested my blood sugar about 20 times in my life, and I am not proud of that. Everyone should regularly monitor their blood sugar levels, just as everyone should be able to test their blood oxygen levels.
If you know me, then you understand why I have to find a natural way to go...and I don't fool around with meds. I didn't like the idea of side effects, but I also wanted to be an example of natural healing.
Even though I am the son of Dr. C. Samuel West, raised in lymphology, I had some incorrect eating habits. Sue me for being imperfect! As did most everyone who lived through the seventies! I believe my father and mother would still be alive were it not for the lies we were told about how to eat right.
What I have learned has been EYE-OPENING. I have learned to overcome Tinnitus and Diabetes, and even to finally burn fat and get a leaner, healthier body.
IF I didn't tell everyone far and wide about the following, you would have reason to hate me: Besides eating high-fat, low-carb, I have begun intermittent fasting and Eating Sardines. NOTHING else has even come close to reversing my diabetes than the NEW dietary advice that is emerging like a tsunami today about metabolic health. And you will be absolutely shocked at how easy it is to eat right when you practice Intermittent Fasting!
Humming loudly got rid of my tinnitus better than anything else because it releases nitric oxide, and I do nitric oxide dumping. Google that!
We don't need sugar to live, but we do need salt. I recommend that everyone read The Salt Fix by Dr. DiNicolantonio. I use distilled water and add lemon juice with Redmond Sea Salt.
What about rebounding and lymphocising, as my father taught? I had a few very good units in Utah, but couldn't manage to haul them here. I still plan to buy a lightweight foldable unit from Amazon and hope to do that soon.
As someone who lived so close to the subject of lymphology, I have been an avid student of physiology in general—someone interested in understanding the role of every system in the body. I had been struggling to eat well and take care of myself, really, for decades, but the difference is I am far more dedicated now to doing that.
That shift has led me to explore a wide range of evidence-based and experimental approaches. I have incorporated a hydrogen water generator, grounding sheets and a grounding pillowcase, a newer, smaller vibration platform that I lean against each evening to stimulate my head and upper body, methylene blue, and even nicotine patches as part of a personal investigation. I have also been experimenting with nitric oxide–supportive practices, including beet consumption and nitric oxide–dumping exercises.
Nutritionally, I have been steadily reducing my carbohydrate intake while increasing healthy fat consumption (something I could only do with enzymes at first). I have recently begun steaming broccoli regularly and often use coconut oil in place of butter. I season most savory foods generously with coconut oil, cayenne pepper, turmeric, and salt to taste. I also eat olives and avocados regularly and frequently snack on Redmond Real Salt throughout my workday.
Lately, I have been learning to revise my writing for publication in an extremely time-efficient manner, and I will soon have some great materials to update the educational program. Stay in touch.
