February 2022 Dear Friends: I wanted to give you all a couple of updates. I
had mentioned in an earlier email about a Conquer Series weekend being held in
early February in the Waynesburg, PA area. You may recall that bad weather
across the country affected various events and flights that weekend, and we
found it necessary to reschedule the retreat.
The new weekend is now March 18-20, 2022, starting at 6:00p.m on Friday the 18th and concluding at noon on
Sunday the 20th. We will be going through this outstanding presentation
regarding the addictive nature of pornography, and we have added some
additional discussion material. The retreat will also cover making the most of
accountability: creative methods to generate deeper discussion, and tools for
long lasting help in fighting this battle together. It will be particularly
helpful material for father/son teams, so if your family is wrestling with the fight against moral compromise, I urge you to come together.

Secondly, we do have two weekends tentatively
scheduled for a Friday night/Saturday couples retreat in Waynesburg, PA, using
the video series by Gary Thomas titled “Sacred Marriage” as our focal point.
It's a well done, down to earth series of messages with discussion questions
that will add new meaning to your relationship with your spouse. There will be
plenty of time for discussion as a small group, as well as time alone with your
wife to walk, explore and enjoy the beautiful setting on the Butler’s farm. It
would be great to see former ALERT guys with their spouse at the retreat, or
parents connected with us through our QUEST program. The cost is yet to be
determined, but will certainly be affordable. If you are interested in attending one of these weekend retreats, please reach out to me for the tentative dates and additional information.
