Subject: Announcing Conqueror 101

March 2022

Attention young men 16 and older:

Are you a guy looking for a bit of adventure and a spiritual challenge this summer? Are you looking to build on the work God is doing in your life? Or perhaps your spiritual life has grown a bit stagnant, or you’re struggling a bit with purposelessness, waiting until the next thing comes along?

If any of the above describes you, then consider Conqueror 101, an outdoor experience in the beautiful Northwoods of upper Michigan. This two-week retreat is entering its third year with an expanded curriculum and additional outdoor events.

Conqueror 101 was designed to hit issues that are significant to young men, to assist them into a deeper walk with God, and give them a chance to engage in a variety of outdoor experiences. This year's curriculum includes, but is not limited to, the following subjects:
  • Overcoming addictive behavior (video games, pornogrpahy etc.)
  • Scriptural tools that can lead to victorious living in the area of moral purity.
  • How to get more out of your time in the Bible
  • Holy living and what it really looks like for a young guy
  • Understanding what every young man’s life calling is
  • Basic tools in leading a Bible study.
Outdoor activities will include, but are not limited to:
  • A variety of lakefront activities including swimming, water skiing, tubing
  • Canoe trips on the Ontonagon river
  • Additional river and lake canoeing and kayaking
  • Hikes to Lake Superior and other areas
  • Rappelling off the bluffs of Norwich Mines
With Quest Advanced taking a hiatus this year, Conqueror 101 is the perfect fit for a guy looking for some in-depth training combined with some great adventures.
Here are some general details for your planning purposes.

When: June 11-25, 2022

Call or email me anytime to discuss what this retreat will entail in more detail, and any subject matters we can develop to address specific needs you might be experiencing. My phone number and email are below.
