I have discovered two common responses to the question, “Have you heard the good news about Jesus?”

The first response typically goes like this: “Yes, I accepted Jesus into my heart when I prayed the prayer in church, so I’ll go to heaven when I die.” The second response is some variation of: “Who cares?!”

Though both of these responses are typical, and seemingly unrelated, they both reveal a very similar and concerning posture of the heart. A heart that has never been captivated by the awesome beauty and goodness of Jesus Christ, let alone understood how each day is to be transformed by the Good News (Gospel) that Jesus is King over all.

At ALERT, we endeavor to saturate every aspect of training and daily life with the Gospel, so that God’s grace will awaken young men to the awesomeness of God, His love for them, and His call on their lives. Our goal is that they would be transformed, living their lives captivated by His glory!
