The winter training quarter is well underway, with 43 men in 2nd Phase, 5 in Leadership & Communications, and 10 in Battalion leadership. This quarter, we have men in training from units 66, 69, 70, and 71. Big battalions are a lot of fun to work with, but they are considerably more challenging logistically, so please pray for us as we juggle the training details for all of these guys. Pray for the Battalion leadership, particularly the 2nd Phase wing leaders who often help teach class during the day while trying to get to know and invest in their guys in the evenings and weekends. Pray also for Sergeant Major LaBarca as he leads the Battalion and invests in the guys in leadership. As we say at ALERT, the days are long, but the weeks are short; please pray we use these next weeks well.
