At the beginning of this month, ALERT Celebrated its 31st Anniversary of "Forging Extraordinary Men Who Influence their World for Christ." These events always remind me just how unique our work is. We are not just "Forging Men" but "Forging Men together." As I said in my keynote address at the reunion, "We're forging a worldwide network of highly skilled, highly motivated, hardworking, like-minded, Jesus-following, strong-to-serve men."

In a world focused on isolation, we aim to create a strong sense of community. We believe that no person is an island, that the Christian walk is not meant to be traveled alone, that "Camaraderie strengthens a man," and that the work we are doing here is worth it.
