One of my most cherished memories from my time in the battalion is the "Buddy Race." My buddy and I spent the entire night searching for land navigation points, which led to a day filled with strongman-style workouts, running, and cold-water swimming. It was an extraordinary experience. The highlight was the strong bond of camaraderie between my buddy and me. We supported each other when we were weak, motivated one another to persevere, and ultimately had an unforgettable time.

This is an example of why God instructs us not to neglect the "assembling of ourselves together." Just like my buddy and I supported and encouraged each other through the competition, the Church serves to uplift, encourage, and inspire us to become more like Christ. Let us pursue Him together!
