Vacation Bible School // JUNE 19-22 6:30-8:30PM // The theme for this year's VBS is Branching Out: Connecting Through Christ. All kids who have finished Kindergarten through Fifth Grade are invited to join in for a week full of fun, crafts, and learning about our wonderful Creator. Open Streets in South Side this weekend // SUN MAY 28 // The 10th Street Bridge, Birmingham Bride, and a portion of East Carson Street will be closed to vehicles to make room for a fun day of free activities in the South Side this Sunday. Summer Leadership Conference // June 8-10 // Pittsburgh Theological Seminary // We
often struggle to cope with conflict in our families, congregations,
and communities. This event will explore conflict and
difference as challenges that hold potential for creative
transformation. The keynote speaker is Miroslav Volf, a Croatian theologian and public intellectual who has been touted as "one of the most celebrated theologians of our day." His book Exclusion and Embrace was named by Christianity Today as one of the 100 Most Influential Books of the Twentieth Century. Click for more details.
