This summer, Hot Metal will gather in living rooms, around campfires, and at breweries to explore new models of community and learn from congregations trying creative things. We’ll wrestle honestly with what excites us and what scares us, and make space for some divine inspiration. Bring your questions, your hopes, your skepticism, your creativity, your lived experience, and your imagination. It’s the summer of big questions and good company.

For the whole month of September, we will not be meeting at 10:30 AM on Sundays as usual. Instead we've got weekly worship experiences outside the norm to get creative with. See the schedule in the next section, if you show up to the Spartan Center in September it's going to be a bummer to be by yourself.

If you’ve ever wondered what to do when the news feels overwhelming, this is one place to start. Every Friday, we choose to be present in a place where fear and uncertainty are very real. We gather outside the ICE office on the South Side with Casa San José and other faith communities to sing, to pray, and to remind all of Pittsburgh that our faith demands dignity for all people.
