| Summer Time Means Porch Hangs

South Side Summer Saturday // SAT AUG 5 @ 5PM // patio // Meet
some neighbors, make some new friends, and bring your family to a free
community event including local live music, fresh food & firepit. Hamburgers,
hot dogs, and grilled vegetables will be served throughout the evening
and guests are encouraged to bring a side dish to share. Ingredients
will be on hand for roasting marshmallows and making s’mores. All the music and food will be outdoors. We'll be hanging on the "Jane Street Front Porch" our newly remodeled patio that we are opening up to community events. In the case of foul weather
the event will be moved indoors to the church’s main hall. Email dylan@hotmetalbridge.com.
Washington Wild Things // THUR JULY 27 @ 6PM // Washington, PA // The youth group is going to see the Washington Wild Things Minor League Baseball game! These games are always entertaining and really fun! On July 27, they will be playing the fantastically named Normal Cornbelters. General Admission tickets are just $5. Email becky@hotmetalbridge.com.
Cooking for The Table // AUG 24 & 31 // main hall // The Table is a lot of things: a hot meal, a meeting place, a supply depot. And it's an extension of our communion table. As Sara Miles writes, "To feed others means acknowledging our own hunger and at the same time acknowledging the amazing abundance we're fed with by God." Wanna have a spiritual epiphany like that?
