Support Standing Rock
// SUN MAR 26 // Our friend, the Rev. John Creasy of The Open Door, has asked us to contribute funds to support the legal expenses of those resisting the construction of the Dakota Access Pipeline. Check out his blog to read his reflections about visiting the camp in November. On Sunday, March 26 we will take a special offering for Standing Rock during Sunday worship. The Peacemaking Ministry Team of Pittsburgh Presbytery is matching all donations until March 30 - so your contribution can have twice the impact! Even if you aren't able to contribute financially, please pray for the Dakota and Lakota people of the Standing Rock Reservation.

Pine Ridge Reservation // JUNE 16-25 // South Dakota // The Lakota people who live on the Pine Ridge Reservation experience some of the worst challenges facing native people in the U.S. Incidences of poverty, addiction, illness, and suicide are far higher than the national average. Our annual trip to the reservation to facilitate an art camp is a ministry of compassion. It's intended to connect children to artistic expression that helps them to reconnect with their cultural heritage. Email Joe Mruk at redbuffaloillustration@gmail.com to sign up.

Spiritual Formation Groups // South Side, South Hills, East End // People who gather in our small groups feel more engaged with our Sunday sermons, more connected with the community, and more challenged to make personal and social change. The Spiritual Formation Kit is a Bible study guide delivered weekly to your email inbox that makes starting or joining a group simple. Throughout Lent will are using a daily devotional written by Dr. Steven Tuell at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. Click here for this week's SFK.

Three ways to stay connected.
