Our Sunday fellowship meal is one of the most crucial aspects of our spiritual life together – it nourishes our bodies as well as our hearts. And it takes a lot of work: setting up, cooking, and cleaning. 

So we need all hands on deck.

  3. Check out the calendar for all of the opportunities this fall
  4. Click “Sign Up” for the jobs and dates that match your availability.
  5. Get reminder emails a few days ahead of your scheduled volunteer times.

Breakfast: it’s the most important meal of the day. And it’s a good time to connect with other Hot Metal people. Give ‘em a tasty treat to enjoy while making new friends and catching up with old ones.

Cooking Lunch
At lunch, God’s invisible grace is made visible to us in the form of full bellies and lively conversation. That’s communion. With God’s abundance in mind, we provide nutritious, balanced, colorful, tasty meals that illustrate God’s gracious hospitality.

Cleanup Crew 
“Everyone wants a revolution, but no one wants to do the dishes!” lamented Catholic Worker founder Dorothy Day. It’s true: cleaning up is the often unsung but totally crucial part of our fellowship meal. On behalf of Dorothy Day, we salute you!
