Fire Roasted Faith // SUN MAY 20 @ 10:30AM // main hall // This Pentecost
celebration is a potluck worship gathering with a prayer liturgy (kinda
like a Seder).
The liturgy will take us on a journey together about believing
the unbelievable and embracing mystery. Bring something tasty and
brunchy to share if you can! Oh, and there will be a fire on the patio
afterwards - it *is* Pentecost, after all!

27 // This month we are collecting women’s professional clothing for Dress
for Success, whose mission is to empower women to achieve economic independence
by providing a network of support, professional attire and the development
tools to help women thrive in work and in life. Needed items including new and
gently used clothing, shoes, & accessories. Contact e.p.jefferies@gmail.com. White Privilege Conference Discussion // MON MAY 21 @ 7PM // main hall // Pastor Jeff will be sharing reflections and facilitating discussion

Open Streets //
SUN MAY 27 9am-1pm // Several blocks of East Carson street will be closed
to traffic and opened for walking, running, bicycling, skateboarding, shopping,
kids activities, and more. So, HMBFC is closing our doors and taking to the
streets to explore, learn, and connect with our neighborhood. More details to
come.
PrideFest // JUNE 9-10 // Downtown // HMBFC is joining other inclusive Presbyterian churches to host a booth during PrideFest to meet folks and let them know where they can find supportive spiritual homes in Pittsburgh.
