February Collection // THRU FEB 25 // main hall // There have been many Sundays when Darlene has asked us to pray for the North Side Food Pantry. This month we are going to join her service to the community and try to help answer those prayers! The Compassion Team is collecting the top-two items from the pantry's wish list: toilet paper and hearty soup (think full-meal-in-a-can). You can bring donations to HMBFC any Sunday in February. Sacred Space: A Contemplative Prayer Gathering// SUN

practices that can benefit our mental health, such as meditation and centering
prayer.
Kintsugi Worship //
SUN FEB 11 @ 7PM // main hall // Kintsugi Worship brings mental health and
spirituality together so that we find healing in our communion with God and
with one another.
What the Health!? // MON FEB 12 @ 7PM // main hall // Jesus
said to love God with all of our heart, soul, mind, and strength. In
this monthly workshop we are exploring ways to integrate physical
wellness with mental and spiritual wellness. This month the focus will
be on "Battling Cold, Flu & Congestion Naturally." In 2018 WTH will
be meeting on the 2nd Monday of each month.
Ash Wednesday Worship Gathering // WED FEB 14 @ 7pm // main hall // We
don't make much space in our culture for humility, for recognizing our
limitations, for acknowledging the reality of death. But together on Ash Wednesday we will remember that we are from dust and to dust we will return.

Lakota Dinner // MON FEB 26 @ 6:45PM // main hall // Dinner
will be a traditional indigenous American meal prepared by chef Liliana
Martinez Tapia. It will be followed by (brief) informational presentations on
Lakota culture and the 7th annual Pine Ridge Art Camp which is a joint
project between HMBFC and Unity Presbyterian Church of Greentree.
