Kids Stuff
During the season of Lent the children will be learning about different ways to pray. Each week will explore prayers such as: mealtime and night prayers; praying with our bodies; praying with color; praying with our senses; praying with creation and more. The older children will be learning the Lord’s Prayer, and praying with scripture, as well. We hope that you will join with your child and encourage their spiritual journey.
We also will be welcoming Miss Rudee Jackson as our leader for our younger children. Rudee is a student at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary and has experience working with children in a variety of settings. Rudee will be with the preschool-kindergarten ages, which will allow Miss Becky to lead the older children separately. Please introduce yourself to Rudee when you have a chance and welcome her to Hot Metal Bridge Faith Community.
Lent Contemplative Prayer Group. // Starts MONDAY, MARCH 11

Throughout March we are collecting for The Western Pennsylvania Diaper Bank. Your donation will provide diapers for babies of low-income families in our area! Place donations in the blue bin inside the parking lot entrance. Opened packs are accepted. Contact e.p.jeffries@gmail.com.
2019 Lakota Art Camp Rescheduled
The 2019 Lakota Art Camp on the Pine Ridge Reservation has been rescheduled for the week of June 24 - 28. Those interested in participating - or just learning more about the camp - are cordially invited to attend the next planning meeting on March 16.
